Frequently Asked Questions

Most decks here in Blue Bell, PA, and surrounding areas start at $20,000. The cost of your deck will depend mostly on the materials you want and the total size of your deck.

Generally yes. Composite decking is a low-maintenance material that doesn’t require regular sealing or staining. It’s also very durable and resistant to the elements. Brands like Trex and TimberTech composite decking are starting to look very much like natural wood.

Wood decks are beautiful and generally more affordable (especially pressure-treated decks and cedar decks). However, they require sealing and staining once every 1 – 2 years.

By far, the best deck railing is metal – whether it’s aluminum, wrought iron, or even steel cable. It is indeed more expensive, but it lasts longer and are more resistant. Wood railings will require extensive maintenance and regular inspections to ensure they’re not rotten or wobbly.

Yes! You’ll get our 5-year workmanship warranty and the materials warranty that can range from 5-years to lifetime warranty. Please note that these warranties are limited, and they only cover certain workmanship issues and materials defects.

Most deck footings start at 12” in diameter and need to go over 36″ into the ground, but we wouldn’t recommend this for all decks. Larger decks equipped with outdoor furniture, pergola, built-in seating, and other features will require thicker footings because it needs to hold more weight.

Most deck building projects are done in 1 to 2 weeks. However, this depends entirely on the scope of work. Larger projects that require more work, like a large deck with custom design, railings, patio landing, and stairs can take close to a month.

Yes, most deck construction projects will require a permit. There are some exceptions as well. For example, decks that are not attached to the house and are on ground level don’t require a permit. Don’t worry about building permits, most of the time, we’ll take care of them for you.

Yes! Limitless Construction is a fully licensed and insured outdoor remodeling company. In us you’ll find a reliable and responsible expert who’s fully in touch with the reality of building a deck and all the local building codes here in Chester County and Montgomery County.

We’ve developed and optimized a deck building process that focuses on your well-being and comfort.

First, you’ll want to request a free quote from our website. Then, we’ll call you back for an estimate over the phone and to schedule an on-site consultation.

We’ll visit you, see the scope of work, and in 1 – 2 business days you’ll get our first and final quote. The price on this quote will remain the same throughout the project, so no extra fees or hidden costs.

We work with a contract so we are all accountable for what happens with your project and on your property. Once we sign everything, we get to work as per our timeline.

At the end, you’ll get a complete walkthrough and our 5-year workmanship warranty, along with our lifetime custom support!

If you want a low-maintenance deck, then it would be best to go with composite or PVC decking.

If you want a natural deck, we recommend cedar, pressure-treated lumber, or redwood.
